Actually, they don't plan to offer DC charging on the Mercedes. Maybe in 2019-2020 with a different, new car.

It likely spent all summer (and most of the year) on the dealer lot charged to 100%. That would explain the SOH of 83%.

In terms of price, size, weight and double utility, a smaller generator seems to be the best bet. As for that pre-load, why would it have to be a 240 volt appliance? Just plug in a 120 volt ~750 watt appliance like a small heater with a switch, and then start first the gen, then the pre-load, then the EVSE, then turn off the pre-load. The idea is to use a pre-load that's small enough to run with the EVSE for a few seconds or longer. The Champion has two 120 volt outlets and one 240 volt.

There is a stronger aftermarket support for the the Juke. Buy the parts from the Juke install on the LEAF.

Since the part numbers are the same across the board. We have a suspension system built for the 2900 lbs Juke on a 3300 lbs Leaf. No wonder it is soft and roll-y.

I have all season tires, but you're doing a lot better than I. I averaged about 2.5 miles per kWh this winter. Then again part of the winter I just left the tire chains on and also had to use the heater a lot, especially when it got down to -36°F. Driving through the thick slush as the compacted snow melts has also made it hard to get good mileage.

Try disconnecting your 12-volt battery for at least 30 seconds to reset the telematics module.

I'm about to pull the plug and buy my Leaf. I haven't done a battery check on it yet, do you think it's necessary to do before I buy? I haven't lost any bars and have 40k miles. If it's necessary, what's the latest recommendation for getting it done for iPhone? Any OBDI2 recs? I remember hearing about a lite version of LeafSpy but I can't find it. Only the $20 app.

I do not think the parts are actually the same between the cars, just similar design and same part numbers. The Versa also has the same spring part numbers but they are different. Also I noticed a Nissan Titan has the same part numbers for the large components even though they are obviously different. Still aftermarket Juke parts might be a good match, or those Nismo Juke parts sounds like they might be the ticket.

Unfortunately we cannot tell customers to disconnect their batteries once in awhile as the permanent fix. Haha.

Is there anything on the owner side that can be done to look at the TCU history or see if the unit is in standby mode? My unit worked a couple hours at the dealer then was never heard from again. Lost in space.

Enphase M190/M190IG/M215/M215IG/M250/S230/S280 Microinverter Specifications

It looks like Enphase has an M250 designed for 72-cell PV modules. This inverter has a maximum DC voltage of 62V rather than the 48V which the original M250s had. The part number with MC4 connectors is M250-72-2LL-S22. I suppose the design of this inverter is similar to the one used in the M190IG72 that Enphase has been shipping out recently as replacements for failed M190s.

Thank you guys. Sure learning a lot reading on this forum. Fascinating to me. Your help to me and others is invaluable and to the EV movement in its entirety. A fear I have is that the Leaf will become too pricey for the regular people when it 'catches on.'

So, owners what range are you getting ?

when my SOC reads 56% with an average of 4.3 miles/Kwh my range shows 50 miles in warm weather. If I calculate the range I get 57 miles. Does this tell me anything about my battery condition? Dash is showing 12 bars still on my 2013 leaf with 39,000 miles.

I am here purely out of my curiosity for these cars, but can't help but poke my head in and watch the drama unfold. Personally, I would ban anyone from any forum I owned for life if they sent me emails like what Tony sent to Mike. I expressed my surprise in a single, positive line about Mike and said nothing about Tony. Tony decided to single me out and use his massive internet ego to lord over me, so I told him what I really felt. I honestly didn't think Tony would respond at all because he blocked me and I could just have my little opinion expressed. Instead here we are 2 pages later and Tony is trying to divert negative attention directed towards him towards me, and it's transparent as glass. I will make some more popcorn to share.
