Does anyone know which measure Nissan Battery Warranty uses?
Four capacity bars gone. So you need to be at 8 or fewer left within the 5 years/60,000 miles.
ok thnx. I just lost the 2nd bar last week. If it's linear, I will lose that 4th in two yrs, which would be 4 yrs and around 40K miles.

Keep in mind that first bar is about 15% capacity lost, while each subsequent bar is about 6% capacity lost. Since in theory capacity lost should be greatest when the pack is new, bars 3 and 4 should take longer to go away than bar 2 did.

Also keep in mind that losing your 2nd bar is likely premature (the P3227 update makes the capacity bars more accurate), so if it doesn't come back, it will probably hang around for a while.

Hopefully Ahr capacity ;)
Interesting that the health was more or less unchanged.. based on other posts I'd seen it looked like it moved a lot after the update.
Yup, I noticed that too... I made sure I took the readings right before and after the update, right at the dealer, 1hr 15min from each other. Haven't taken a reading today tho...after 100% charge. Will do that tomorrow to see if there's any difference.

Health seems to be the quickest to respond, though Ah seems to take a week or two to settle down. Within a week you should know what your true capacity loss is assuming that the P3227 update truly fixes the accuracy of the capacity bars and Ah readings.
