I'm with TomT. If you look at the 2014 Chevy Spark EV, it's going to be priced at around $32.5K, right where the LEAF is priced. So if GM can manage to include TMS in the Spark EV for around the same price range as the LEAF, why can't Nissan?

Have you seen a spark? It's tiny. Cute but tiny. Only seats four, has no trunk to speak of. Its only planned to be sold in California as a compliance car.
I rented the ICE version for 2 weeks. Was fine around town but unsettling on the freeway. Bounced like crazy, blown around by wind and passing vehicles. No space behind rear seat made me worry what a rear end collision would do to the passengers in the back.
The Leaf is much bigger and feels comfortable on the highway.
I would tend to assume the next rev Leaf will incorporate some sort of TMS. I'll probably lease again in 2 years waiting for Teslas gen III.

I am really curious what Nissan plans to do with the Leafs as they come off lease with depleted batteries.
