An oldie (posted Dec '12) but a goodie ... sound clip of the smart electric drive "Pedestrian warning sound (code B53)” the 4th imbedded wav file in the article below

Some who've tested the Ed find this annoying but unless it's much worse than this sounds in person, no worse than our LEAF's ... seeing a few new owners on other forums but numbers still quite small
